Day 1 : Bagdogra Airport / NJP to Gangtok

● Reach Bagdogra / NJP station.
● Our local representative will meet you at the airport/station as they will provide a transfer to the hotel.
● Check in at the hotel.
● Evening is free to go & discover the local beauty of Gangtok.

Day 2 : Changu Lake , Baba Mandir & Nathula Pass (Optional )

● After breakfast, day excursion to the beautiful Tsomgo Lake.
● Travel to Baba Mandir, another 17 km beyond Tsomgo Lake.
● Head back to Gangtok and overnight stay at Gangtok.

Optional Visit to Nathula Pass – Can be covered on the same day after Baba Mandir on direct payment basis.

*Tsomgo Lake is an oval-shaped glacial lake. It is home to brahminy ducks & several migratory birds*.
* Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple is popularly known as Baba Mandir. This temple was made in the memory of an Indian Army soldier, Baba Harbhajan Singh*.

Day 3 : Gangtok to Lachung

  • Have a stomach-filling breakfast and start your day early by checking out from the hotel in Gangtok and proceeding towards Lachung.
  •  It is a mountain village perched at 8800 feet and is close to the Tibetan border.
  • It is also home to the 19th-century Buddhist Lachung Monastery. Surrounded by apple orchards, the destination’s mesmerizing beauty is awe-inspiring.
  •  En route, visit the Singhik View Point and Seven Sisters Waterfalls.
  • The viewpoint is a paradisiacal retreat from the loudness of the cities.
  • It offers its visitors a stunning view of Mt. Kanchenjunga and Mt Siniolchu.
  • The Seven Sisters Waterfall is one of the most pristine waterfalls in the region.
  • It derives its name from the fact that it cascades in seven stages and is extremely captivating.
  • On arrival in Lachung, check in at the hotel. Enjoy a delicious dinner meal which will be served in the Hotel. 
  • Overnight in Lachung. 

Day 4 : Lachung – Yumthang Valley – Zero Point ( Optional ) – Gangtok

  • Wake to the sound of yak’s bell and after an early breakfast, leave to explore Sikkim’s Valley of Flowers, also called Yumthang Valley, which is located at the height of 11,800 ft above sea level.
  • You will notice that where the tree line ends in Yumthang, the valley showcases vegetation of Primula, rhododendrons, and other alpine flowers.
  • On the way back, do not forget to pay a visit to the Hot springs of the region, which are considered to have medicinal properties.
  • After Sightseeing, Head towards your Hotel, Check Out from there and Have your Lunch.
  • Start the transfer back to Gangtok, where you will check in to the hotel for the night.
  •  Overnight at Gangtok.
 

Optional Visit: Zero Point & Mt. Katao  can be covered by Sharing Car after Yumthang Valley on a Direct Payment basis.

Day 5 : Gangtok to NJP / Bagdogra Airport

  • It’s time to say goodbye to the mountains
  • After breakfast, proceed to NJP station / Bagdogra Airport (IXB)
  • Board your train / flight for your destination
  • Have a great journey towards your hometown
